Everyone Falls in Love With Tasmania by Lawrence Collins and Lawrence L Durrant
Another glossy pre-cool touristy Tasmania book - but what a bloody prescient title. Oh so many more falling in love with this place. There are lots of natural history shots and some excellent coverage of old buildings including the Buckland Church and the Queenstown airstrip, a particularly glamourous shot. Lawrence and Lawrence have also taken the time to write up quite a few observations - recent history, convict shot, nature, the likes. Chapter titles include 'Coastal kaleidoscope' and Tasmanians at work and play. There are lots of skivvies and flares, and some gorgeous panoramas.
I suppose we could call it pre-gush gush.
