Voss by Patrick White
This is the only Patrick White I have read to date, and I have read it twice, once sulking in a bunk on a boat, after a fight with my sister about spring onions, and once so that I could talk about it in an intelligent manner on Radio National. It is mythic, and I actually find myself thinking as I type that I would read it a third time. Australia's only Nobel Laureate.
